Thanks to the Tonga Ministry of Communication staff's efforts, VVMRA is pleased to inform the public that the VHF Repeater System has

been returned to full service.

This project was directed by 'Alifeleti T. Tu'ihalamaka - MEIDECC Director of Communications, and Lucy Fa'anunu - MEIDECC Vava'u

Officer in Charge.

Finau Hufanga - Communication Engineer Consultant

Tests verified that VHF communications on Channel 26 can reach at least 20 nautical miles (37 kilometres) from Neiafu.
