16th June, 2020 Government continues to offer relief support towards businesses affected by COVID-19 and Tropical Cyclone Harold, including the Communications Sector this time.

These businesses are the network operators, broadcasters, and Very High Frequency (VHF) and High Frequency (HF), marine and land mobile radio communication licensees.

Relief Package are as follows:

1. Network Operators/Internet Service Providers:- waive of licence and spectrum fees for April, May & June, 2020.
2. Broadcasters:- waive of licence and spectrum fees for April, May & June, 2020.
3. HF & VHF Radio communication Operators :- waive of licence fees commencing from April 2020 to March 2021, and majority of these licensees are individual fishing vessels where their livelihood solely depends on Fishing.
