The Ministry responsible for Meteorology, Energy, Information, Disaster Management, Environment, Climate Change and Communications (MEIDECC) is pleased to invite applicant(s) for the above-mentioned subject.
Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) in partnership with the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT), Republic of Korea and Universities of the Republic of Korea continues to offer scholarship opportunities of Master’s and Ph.D. degrees.

MEIDECC’s Department of Communications is the point of contact in Tonga and is responsible for the selection of applicants before referring to the APT Secretariat.
Please note, the number of scholarships are subject to change if applicants are not qualified or fail to meet the requirements. Those that will be selected are 9 nominees. Please see ‘Guidelines for the APT-Republic of Korea Scholarship programme’ before submission.
All applications must be completed and to be received by the Communications Department a week prior deadline for the application submission to the APT – (August 11th, 2023).
Application package must be clearly marked “APT-Republic of Korea Scholarship Application” and addressed to the;
